Men and their pride, especially with gaming!

After yet another day of gaming I find myself asking one question... why can't guys deal with the fact that a girl just might play better than them?

See, I am female and very much a gamer! I absolutely love it especially Modern Warfare 2 and 3. Problem is that guys expect you to suck at gaming and more importantly, they NEED you to suck! Why? Well that's simple, their ego just can't deal with you beating them in their "territory". According to many men, woman should just not play games or if they do then suck they must!

Now I find this very one standard since we have to always assume that if you are a guy, you must be an absolute amazing gamer. Well that is not true since the only reason why most guys are better at computer or console games is because they spend a hell of a lot more time on them than most women.

I may be the minority but this does not mean that I can't play games.  I constantly find myself joining other players on Modern Warfare and the moment I beat most of the players on my team they instantly quit and abandon me! They just can't stand or fathom the idea that a girl could be better than them.

Well to all you guys out there who feel this way times are changing and have been for a very long time! Women are discovering they enjoy other things besides knitting and baking and these include gaming, fixing cars and becoming professional athletes or politicians. Instead of pouting and sulking be happy that your girlfriend can beat you in games, some guys actually do and can't wait to tell their guy friends all about this. After all a girl who likes gaming would never tell you to turn that Xbox or PS3 off, the only problem you may have is never being able to play online yourself since she would be hogging your console herself!

So to all you sore losers, your sex does not determine whether you are a good gamer, your skill does! Happy Gaming Everyone!
