My favourite word? That's easy... Boo!

I guess it was only a matter of time until I started blogging and I couldn't start my blog without mentioning my Boo. Boo was special, so special that I think she was secretly a super hero by night and cute kitty by day. Many people won't get this, won't understand how I could dedicate my first blog to Boo but anyone who met Boo would understand.

Boo came into our life in 2009. I decided to visit the Thomasina Cat Sanctuary with my best friend Mel and that's were I met this baby of mine. Finding Boo was not easy, I was surrounded by 500 cats all in need of a good home meowing and purring to get my attention but there she was. Boo was sitting quietly in a corner on her own as if she thought she never stood a chance on getting adopted but she had not yet met me :)

The moment I saw her I knew she was the one. The poor little thing had a broken front tooth, a bold patch and terrible breath and I loved her more because of all that. I took her home to meet her family and that's where the change took place. At first Boo was full of flees, skinny and terrified of everyone including me. Six months later she finally jumped off her spot on the counter and came to lie on me and the rest was history. She was extremely special and I feel blessed to have met that little bundle of cuteness.

Before Boo I never truly understood the concept of unconditional love, she loved me whether I was having a good day or a bad day, whether I looked like a queen or a hobo... she loved me as is. If anyone needed a pick me up they knew where to come, half an hour with Boo and all your troubles would melt away.

Unfortunately this story does not end with a happy ending, we lost out little Boo earlier this year which was the hardest thing I've ever been through but I wouldn't change a thing as meeting her was worth it all. I can now look back and smile as I think of all the moments we shared together. Boo has made me look at life differently, she truly was SUPER CAT!!

I love you my Boo xx
